Organization Wellness Workshops

Transcend Organizational Wellness was founded in 2023 by Lauren Cabaldon, LMFT after she witnessed the impact of increased psychosocial stressors on employees’ mental health during the pandemic.  As the Chief Clinical Officer of a mental health treatment facility in California, she observed firsthand employees struggling with increased levels of burnout, loneliness, depression, and anxiety.  She also recognized that employee mental health was directly correlated to the success of the organization, and that many managers were ill-equipped to address these issues.

In 2022, she was asked by a CEO of a reputable recruiting company in San Diego to lead mental health support workshops for his employees.  It was evident that employees and leaders both were craving education, knowledge, and support around mental health.  She founded Transcend Organizational Wellness on her passionately held belief that psychologically healthy workplace environments foster more productivity and overall employee happiness.

Why choose Transcend?

Research shows that psychological safety is the most important factor in predicting a company’s overall success. The problem is that many managers never learned how to cultivate an environment of psychological safety for their employees.  The result is a workforce that feels quietly disconnected, mentally unhealthy, and under-supported.  This ultimately impacts the bottom line.  The great news is that data also shows that simply talking about these topics and normalizing these issues can increase psychological safety and belonging in the workplace.

Lauren brings a unique background as a licensed psychotherapist and a former C-suite leader with over 15 years of management experience. She will work with your leadership to help address your team’s unique wellness needs and help implement practical tools across all levels.  Lauren is passionate about advocacy, awareness, and reducing stigma around mental health issues to help organizations thrive.
